George Scherbak, CPCU, joined HIG in 2007 as executive sales advisor. With more than 30 years experience in the insurance industry, George lead’s HIG’s business development efforts and client relations for commercial accounts.

Prior to joining HIG, George was president and CEO of Saucon Mutual Insurance Company in Bethlehem, Pa.  He also has owned and operated Manage Comp Consulting, Inc., an insurance consulting firm in West Chester, Pa., and was employed by The PMA Group in Blue Bell, Pa., for 18 years.

A resident of West Chester, George earned a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., and an M.B.A. from Widener University in Chester, Pa. In addition to his CPCU designation, he has insurance designations in general insurance (INS), claims (AIC), risk management (ARM) and 2010 FIVE STAR Home/Auto Insurance Professional (Philadelphia Magazine).
